If it's good, I'll read it! Instagram: @crystenasbooks
I realized all the books left on my September TBR list (which I'm halfway done with btw) are all sci-fi/fantasy save one - and I'm saving that one (The Body in Berkeley Square) for my plane trip next week.
I don't want to get genre tired and I feel I am coming close to it. To head this off, when I returned a stack of books to the library, I picked up some YA and two Booker prize nominees to throw into the mix.
Fangirl is everywhere! Our library has four copies. I liked Rowell's Attachments, so I will give this a try.
Lois Lane Fallout is a YA retelling of Lois Lane's story. It's an investigative mystery series. The sample showed promise. It was an easy pick.
The Illuminations has some beautiful writing.
