If it's good, I'll read it! Instagram: @crystenasbooks
After the Paris news last night and calling my family and my brother in Japan to confirm he wasn't affected by the earthquake (someone told me there was an earthquake and no details which got me worried). Emotionally speaking, I wanted to just stay in, but I wandered across the street from my hotel. No, it didn't register that this was the Morrin Centre from Bury Your Dead by Louise Penny. The guides told me when I came in and saw the book sitting on desk. I started going off fangirl style on how great the book is and how it made me cry. The tour was great. Lots of history and you get to see where they found the body in the book.
Definitely worth a visit and a nice distraction on a somber day.
