Victoria: A Novel from the Creator/Writer of the Masterpiece Presentation on PBS - Daisy Goodwin

3.5 stars.

This was a well written book of Queen Victoria's youth. But it was 330 pages of her being a bit of a spoiled brat and pining after Lord Melbourne. Making decisions that affected the nation so that he would notice her made me cringe. Her character worked my last nerve. The last 70 pages where she met Prince Albert were good and I would like to read more about their relationship and rule.

Though I read this as a library book, I did received a copy of this book from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.
