I really enjoyed this book. Kline did a good job of pulling you into the story and turning the pages. The jumping back and forth between past and present left me wary in the beginning but in the end I didn't mind it. I knew little about the orphan trains before reading this. This book did a good job at showing what it must have been like for those poor children. While some of the story is heartbreaking and difficult to read, the hopeful tone of the story was a pleasure.
